Shanghai Surprise or Beijing Duck?
Today, my special guest is Elaine, a good friend of mine from Taicang, China. In this podcast interview, I ask her which cities in China are truly the “must see” spots for travelers, as well as which places they should see, which things they should do and, of course, which foods they should try! Originally, we were going to discuss another, lesser-known city (although it’s famous in China), Guangzhou. However, we decided to focus on what she knew best and stuck with Shanghai and Beijing. These may seem like obvious choices to people considering China for travel, but Elaine does provide us with some good suggestions for each place–not to mention my weak two cents as well!
